About Me

A proven marketing leader and expert business communicator, I thrive in creative atmospheres with many moving parts. At my core, I have a deep love of learning, integrated communication, and fun.

I spent two decades in marketing, communications, and content leadership roles at Fortune 100 companies including the New York Life Insurance Company and the CBS Television Network, and as the owner of Col Rock LLC, a boutique content consultancy catering to corporations, startups, nonprofits, and individuals. While creating content strategies and campaigns for some of the world’s best-known entertainment brands, my adventures traversed Hollywood, Madison Avenue, and Silicon Valley/Alley amid the explosion of social media on mobile devices and binge viewing on streaming platforms.

I have a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame. I am a part-time adjunct professor focusing on marketing and communications at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Union College in Cranford, NJ.

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
